Visit of the abbeys

Montseret is located halfway between the abbeys of Fonfroide (11th-century Cistercian abbey with its famous cloister) and the abbey of Lagrasse (8th-century abbey in one of the most beautiful villages in France).

Visit of the city of Carcassonne

The Forge is located less than 45 minutes from the medieval city of Carcassonne, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With its 3km of walls and 52 towers, the rich history of the city will enchant young and old alike.

Gastronomy

Whether it's the vineyard tables all around Montseret, the famous grand buffets of Narbonne, or the very prestigious tables of the 3⭐️ Auberge du Vieux Puits in Fontjoncouse, you can indulge in local products.

Mountain Biking

From Montseret, you can rent your mountain bikes (electric or muscle-powered), have them delivered to the cottage, and even be accompanied by Hugo (the local expert) to discover the Corbières and feast your eyes

Thrill

Hydrospeed, caving, canyoning via ferrata... within an hour's drive, thrill-seekers will find their happiness in one of the many opportunities offered by the high Aude valley.

The house is beautiful! The owners are very friendly and attentive. What I don't like are the entrances and exits of the house because... what is a Spanish family doing at 10 in the morning at 6 degrees outside a house!?

Magnifique bâtisse refais a neuf. ( lit confortable, grande douche et grande baignoire ! ) Un endroit idyllique et calme. Nous avons été accueilli par de gentils personnes qui nous ont donnés de nombreux conseils pour nous divertir en extérieur.

Superbe maison d'hôtes et vue sur l'ancien château, avec tout le confort 😁. Un magnifique piscine nous attend à l'arrivée, ainsi qu'un terrain de boules. Equipé d'un lave vaisselle, la vaisselle correspond au nombre d'hôtes et plus. Bref je recommande 5 étoiles

Nous avons passé une semaine à deux grande famille dans cette superbe maison très bien équipée. La clim et la piscine nous ont permis de passer un super séjouren période de forte chaleur. Les hôtes sont très accueillant et aux petits soins pendant le séjour. Je recommande vivement à toutes les personnes qui souhaitent un séjour dans une maison conviviale et chaleureuse.
